The New York Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) recently began implementing changes to the traffic point system in order to more harshly penalize reckless driving. As of February 16, all drivers in New York State  will be subjected to those new standards, potentially putting them at a higher risk of enhanced penalties. This makes it even more important for drivers to have legal representation if they are ticketed for traffic violations. New Traffic Regulations Make Ticket Pen
